Daily joined tours in Luang Prabang City

By the wish to save our travelers’ budget for solo traveling or small group, we have decided to run the joined, Seat in Coach tours in and around Luang Prabang City where you can enjoy the holiday with cheapest expenses and rates.

ITINERARY 01: Luang Prabang half day city tour (4 hours tour)

At 08h30, after the breakfast at the hotel, our shuttle bus comes to pick you up and then enjoy the half day city tour with our local guide. We visit the Royal Palace Museum, which hosts a range of interesting artifacts. We then enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents classical Laotian architecture. Today, we also visit the impressive Stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham. Finally, return to hotel and end the services.

ITINERARY 02: Luang Prabang full day city tour (8 hours tour)

At 08h30, after the breakfast at the hotel, our shuttle bus comes to pick you up and then start a full day city tour with our local guide. Your full day city tour begins with a visit to the Royal Palace Museum, which hosts a range of interesting artifacts. We then enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents classical Laotian architecture. Today, we also visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham. In the afternoon, we visit the Arts and Ethnology Centre to learn about Laos’ many ethnic cultures before we head out of town to see the weaving villages of Ban Xangkhong and Ban Xienglek.  We then return to the city for a visit to Wat Mai. We then climb up to the top of Mount Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a panoramic view of the city at sunset and the Mekong River. Finally, return to hotel and end the services.

ITINERARY 03: Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Caves (4 hours tour) – Afternoon tour

At 14:30, our shuttle bus comes to pick you up at your hotel and then transferred to the boat pier.
From there, we will embark on a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a breathtaking view of the tranquil countryside, before reaching the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims. Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the local rice wine. On return, we disembark the boat to take a short drive to Ban Phanom, a village famous for its hand weaving. Finally, bus will drop you off at your hotel. End the services.

ITINERARY 04: Luang Prabang – Khouangsi Waterfall (5 hours tour)

At 8h30, after the breakfast at the hotel, our shuttle bus comes to pick you up and then enjoy the drive to Khouangsi Waterfall with our local guide. You will visit local village of Lao ethnic minority groups at Ban Ouay and Ban Thapene. Then, we drive to the beautiful Khouangsi Waterfall where you can splash around in the turquoise pools or walk along the forest paths. Finally, we will return to Luang Prabang by late afternoon and end the tour at the hotel.

ITINERARY 05: Luang Prabang – Half Day Elephant Experience (Lunch)

**Please note**  This tour does NOT include elephant bathing

At 08h00-08h30, after the breakfast at the hotel, the shuttle bus comes to pick you up at the hotel and then depart for the Elephant Village Camp. On arrival, welcome greeting by our camp manager and participate in a short briefing about elephants.
Ride the Elephant: Enjoy the impressive experience of a 1 km bareback elephant ride! 1 person per elephant.
Boat trip to the Tad Sae Waterfall: Ride in a traditional Lao long boat to the Tad Sae Waterfall and relax or swim in the clear water (swim suit recommended!)
Lunch: Dine at our Elephant Camp restaurant.  Buffet lunch served with coffee / tea and drinking water (vegetarian options are available)
Fianlly, return to hotel and end the services at around 13h00.

ITINERARY 06: Luang Prabang – Full Day Elephant Experience with Bathing  (Lunch)

At 08h30-9h00, after the breakfast at the hotel, the shuttle bus comes to pick you up at the hotel and then depart for the Elephant Village Camp. On arrival, Welcome and greeting by our camp manager and participate in short briefing about elephants.
Ride the Elephant: Enjoy the impressive experience of a 1 km bareback elephant ride!  1 person per elephant.
Mahout Training: Receive your basic mahout training on how to control an elephant just like a mahout!
Lunch: Dine at our Elephant Camp restaurant.  Buffet lunch served with coffee / tea and drinking water (vegetarian options available).
Bathe Your Elephant: Take your own elephant down to the Nam Khan river for an exhilarating and once in a lifetime bathing experience!.
Boat trip to the Tad Sae Waterfall: Take a traditional Lao long boat to the Tad Sae Waterfall and relax, dip your feet or take a swim in the clear, cool water.
Finally, return to hotel and end the tour at around 15h00 – 16h00.
